Our Mission

Our mission is to support small to medium sized companies (SME’s) to remove the pain and guesswork out of delivering that all important ingredient for success – TALENT.  We regularly speak with companies who have had bad experiences working with traditional recruitment agencies. Based on this feedback and our internal recruitment experience, we set out to create an alternative model and partnership approach that was more than a CV forwarding service. Through gaining a clear understanding of your business goals and drivers we aim to become an extension of your business, adding real value.

Careerz delivers talent solutions across Kent, London and the South East however have experience sourcing candidates across EMEA.

What makes us ‘refreshingly different’?

Careerz was conceived by John Adams, a former internal Recruitment Manager who has extensive blue-chip experience and a passion to break the mould and offer something different and most importantly, cost-effective.

The result is a solution that is tailored to your requirements and where you will have access to your own “internal recruitment manager” however engaged on a success only basis. Our focus is also around thought leadership, culturepersonality fit, cost per hire, time to hire and quality of hire –  areas that really matter to any successful business.

From first hand experience we fully appreciate the internal challenge and the need to deliver a service that is consistent, timely and cost effective. It is our past experience combined with our unstoppable drive to offer something different that we believe makes us refreshingly different’.

John Adams 

BA(Hons), DipM, Dip Coaching, Dip NLP, CertRP

John is a talent acquisition specialist with over 20 years industry experience delivering recruitment solutions to small to medium sized companies and Global Blue-Chip Technology organisations. Experience includes internal direct sourcing strategy & delivery and managing technical recruitment teams across EMEA & APAC covering both permanent and contingent staffing solutions. John is now passionate about making it his mission to utilise this experience to support small to medium sized technology focused companies to excel through acquiring top talent.  John, who is originally from windswept Northern Ireland(many years ago!), now lives with his lovely family in sunny Canterbury in Kent and enjoys playing tennis, walking and giving unwanted career advice to his children.

 

Severine Adams 

MSc in Business Management, TFLA, Cert CCOT

Severine has over 10 years experience supporting Blue-Chip organisations to identify, qualify and recruit talent. Experience includes candidate sourcing, competency based interviewing and managing graduate assessment centres.  Severine is passionate about ensuring that the cultural fit is right as she feels this is often overlooked in the race to fill the position.  Severine, who was born in France, was lucky enough to meet John (as above!) and they both live with their two delightful children in Canterbury Kent.  Severine is an avid runner, enjoys the pain of High Impact Intensity Training (HIIT) and making sure their children stay on the straight and narrow!

We take pride in the fact we will only ever work with associates who share our passion and values to ensure we deliver a consistently high level of service.

Our approach is always to ensure we focus on providing the highest level of service in order to deliver a positive outcome for every task you entrust with us. We will be open and honest in all our dealings, as we believe in treating others in the same manner we would wish to be treated ourselves.

This means we will never adopt any pushy sales techniques to win business or force an outcome. We believe our service should speak for itself, so if we are given the opportunity to work with you, we will ensure that you are suitably impressed by our service that you will be happy to come back for more!

Our vision is to be the recruitment partner of choice to those target companies we are confident we will be able to deliver maximum value and results.

We are always on the look out for talent to join our team. Ideally you will have some recruitment experience and looking for a new and inspired approach to how you work with your clients. However we will consider exceptional candidates with customer services experience and a real passion for service delivery.

We have ambitious plans to grow the team through developing strong partnerships with our clients. Our aim is to become their recruitment partner of choice with the view to engaging with them via our RPO lite solution.

We offer a competitive basic salary and commission scheme with the potential to develop your career as the company grows. Our office environment is relaxed. Our dress code is casual and we only wear suits when we are visiting clients that have a formal dress code.
