Careerz Limited is a recruitment business which provides recruitment related services to our clients and those candidates seeking work. In order to provide such services we are required to process and store personal data in line with the General Data Processing Regulations which come into force on 25th May 2018.

 

We are fully committed to protecting the privacy of our candidates, clients and website users and will only ever use information provided for the purposes set out in this policy.

 

Information Collection

Careerz Limited collect personal information about you with the purposes of supporting the recruitment process. Information may include such data as name, address, phone numbers, emails, work history, education, nationality, cover letters, immigration status, and NI number. This may be provided to us directly via our website, email or indirectly through online job boards.

 

Processing of Information

This data is processed with the purposes of supporting the recruitment process and only as far as is necessary to conform with legal requirements. We may use it to contact you about job opportunities, recruitment services, changes to our service and marketing updates regarding goods and services that may be of interest. If you do not wish us to use your data in such a manner then please feel free to remove your details by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link that will be at the bottom of all marketing emails.

 

Consent & Withdrawal of Consent

By registering your details with us you consent to the collection and processing of your data including the disclosure of this information with prospective clients and employers in connection with the recruitment process.

Under the Employments Agencies Act Careerz Limited are required to retain your data for a period of 12 months after it was last used  however you have the right to withdraw consent at any time by emailing us at info@careerz.co.uk

 

Data Security & Third Party Use

Careerz Limited are fully committed to ensuring that your information is secure and so limit access to staff and selected third parties who may require access to process data to support the recruitment process. We may also release personal data to law enforcement or regulatory agencies where required to do so under the law.

We may collect data relating to your general internet usage in the form of cookies which is a small file stored on your computer’s hard drive. Once you agree, the data is added and this helps analyse web traffic, preferences and visitor behaviour which in turn can help us better respond to your needs by implementing website improvements.
